We believe in the power of art.

We are AIM AT ART. We were founded in 2009 by Emily de Valk and Emily Vermeer, art historians who specifically wanted to enter the world of large organisations. Their original goal was to make this world more creative. Since then, our ambition has grown. We now tackle today’s major challenges in an entirely original way.

Core values

Stimulating

We immerse you in an entirely new experience, pose shrewd questions, and surprise and change you.

Adventurous

We enjoy experiencing quirky, extraordinary art and culture, and discovering new worlds for you to explore.

Connecting

We create and facilitate the dialogue between art and business, between teams and team members. We inspire the business world with the thoughts and actions of artists.

Team

Which piece of art has touched and changed you?

ITA’s play ‘Prima Facie’. It is about a ruthless criminal lawyer for whom law is a sport. She is all about legal truth; the law is her foundation. Until she is a victim of a vice case herself and finds out the law is inadequate for these types of cases. It is a rock-solid piece that opened my eyes about the creation of the law. And that women, perhaps unknowingly, are victims of this. You can read about inequality, but a play like this makes you feel that inequality down to every nerve. And when you touch something substantial, it changes your outlook forever.

Which piece of art has touched and changed you?

Marina Abramović has always fascinated me. The boundaries she pushes. The physicality. After seeing something of hers, you immediately have more courage. Her performance The Artist is Present, in which she sat on a chair at MOMA New York for eye contact with strangers, touched me. She was underestimated, but it was touching. Humans are social animals. Truly one of those works which has a predictive quality. It will only become more relevant.

We firmly believe in creating the mindset of the future together. Together with experts in art, creativity, development and change, we are on our way. Our greatest strengths? Flexibility, innovative power, the ability to ask shrewd questions, and our warm relationship with each other.

Artistic partners

Sahand Sahebdivani

Sahand Sahebdivani, founder of Mezrab – The House of Stories, is perhaps the best-known storyteller of the Netherlands. We too believe in the connecting power of personal stories. We work with Sahand to transform paper plans into stories that move yourself and others.

Sandra Schouten

Sandra is a process artist. With The House of Taste, she develops sensory & theatrical interventions to get people to look differently at themselves and their environment, set them in motion & create mutual connections. She enjoys working in organisations, at events and conferences, in healthcare and in education.

The Turn Club

This collective of artists makes the future feel very close by. Not in vague terms, but in a personal and concrete way. By imagining, making and experimenting, they bring long-term thinking into practice.

Floris van Elteren

Floris gets to the heart of the idea with his images. With his work, he regularly supports our change processes by creating catchy pictures that pull all noses in the same direction.

Katie Süter

Katie is the founder of MVNG MTTRS. They use movement as a powerful tool to connect people and bring them into the moment. With dance and movement, they help people get out of their heads and reconnect with their feelings, their body and each other. MVNG MTTRS awakens creative processes and gets everyone moving!

Laura Mentink

As an artist and communications expert, Laura Mentink helps organisations and sectors get on the same page. We enjoy working with Laura to make complex issues tangible. Through monologues and theatrical interventions, Laura knows how to bring all the different perspectives to the surface and bring them together.
