Art in South East Amsterdam

This Centre for Visual Arts exhibits the work of local artists with roots all over the world. A series of continuously changing exhibitions present fresh new perspectives, based on a variety of cultures, eras, and future needs. Our art will expand your world in a thought-provoking and stimulating way.

Besides visiting these exhibitions, you will also take a walk around the neighbourhood, discovering local artworks such as the Nelson Mandela memorial: a work that transcends the person of Mandela and introduces you to the African concept of ubuntu.

Located on Anton de Komplein, it is the place in Amsterdam to be inspired by diversity and inclusion. As an organisation themselves, they have gone through a transition. D&I is now in their DNA. The exhibitions give us a different lens on ourselves and what we have in common.
